Art Boca Raton Selects 2017 Dealer Committee

Baker Sponder Gallery is pleased to announce that Deborah Sponder has been selected for the Art Boca Raton 2017 Dealer Committee!
Deborah began her art world career in California, where she spent 15 years as a private dealer. In 2003, she joined her mother Elaine as director of their iconic Elaine Baker Gallery space. Deborah was instrumental in fostering the gallery's growing number of important artists, adding Jun Kaneko, Ernest Trova and Charles Arnoldi during the first few years. She also developed successful ongoing projects with The Boca Raton Resort and multiple Ritz-Carlton properties. Her intelligence and innovation were rewarded in 2011 with the transition to Baker Sponder Gallery when Deborah became partner.
Sponder Gallery, Miami was established in 2013, and maintains a strong focus on abstract paintings and sculpture from the post-war to contemporary genres. Artists who display innovative techniques and a unique approach to materials are paramount to the gallery's aesthetic. Artists exhibited include Stanley Boxer, Dan Christensen, Michael Halsband, William King, Donald Martiny, Jane Manus, Udo Noger, Mauro Perucchetti, Jonathan Prince, Kikuo Saito, Ernest Trova, and Boaz Vaadia. Sponder Gallery has a strong presence in the national art fair circuit, participating in 8 annual fairs.
